We remodeled a Japanese style 100 years old house to our guest house. Every room is Japanese style, also there is Japanese style garden.

"Guest house RAKUZA" is the second guest house after the first one "WARAKU-AN" in Kyoto, Shougoin.

"RAKUZA" and "WARAKU-AN" are both Japanese traditional style guest house, remodeled 100 years old house.

If "RAKUZA" is full, please contact "WARAKU-AN" too.

Services and facilities of "Guest House RAKUZA"

There is air conditioner and oil heater (in winter).
Internet ： FREE
There is shared computer.
Guest's laptop can be connected with WIRELWSS LAN.
(Depends on the room, it might be difficult to connect.)
We provide FUTON (Japanese style bedclothes) and sheets.
Private rooms have lock.
There is no shared kitchen.
There is a hair drier for rent.
There is a cell phone charger for rent.
We have body soap, and shampoo with conditioner for free.
Please bring your towel too.
(We also rent bath towel for 100yen)
You should bring your night clothes.
There is no TV.
Rental cycle : 500yen/day
Bus 1 day free pass : 500yen
Kimono Rental(Kikkabo) : 5,000yen/day (Please ask a staff for detail!)

Check-out 8:00-11:00
After 8:00, you can keep your baggage in our place, enjoy traveling before and after you stay.
There is no curfew.
Visa, Mater card are available.
(only with a payment more than 10,000yen)
Bath room is open 24hours.
Most cloth public bath is a 2min.-walk from RAKUZA.
All room are non-smoking. There is smorking area in the salon.
Maximum 7people in a group can stay.
Maximum 14nights to stay.
Kids under 10years old can not stay in our dormitory.
There is no parking with us. Please use coin parkings around our guest house.

From Kyoto station, please take bus 205 from bus stop A2 (10min), get off at SHIJO-KAWARAMACHI bus stop. From SHIJO-KAWARAMACHI bus stop, it takes 7minites by foot.
The most close bus stop is SHIJO-KEIHAN bus stop, but the bus from Kyoto station doesn't stop there. From SHIJO-KEIHAN bus stop, it takes 4minites by foot.
From Keihan GION SHIJO station, you get out from exit No.1, walk 1minite to our place.
There is no parking with us. Please use coin parkings around our guest house.
